Festus Oluseyi Oderanti obtained his PhD in Computer Science (2007- 2010) from Intelligent System Lab, School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. His supervisor was the Head (US: Dean) of the School; Professor Philippe De Wilde. His PhD research area was in strategic business games and decision making under uncertainty. His second supervisor was Professor Rob Pooley while Internal Examiner was Professor David Corne and the External Examiner was Professor Trevor Martin from University of Bristol , United Kingdom. Dr Olu Oderanti holds two Master degrees (Master degree in Computer Science and Master degree in Business Administration). He obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) in Computer Science in year 2000. He had worked for more than five years with Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Nigeria as a lecturer with Computer Engineering Department and later with Computer Science Department of the same college. Festus also worked with University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom for about three years as an IT Helpline Analyst and IT Tutor. He has ITSM/ITIL Foundation Certificate, ITIL V2-V3 Bridge Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management as well as ITIL Practitioner Certificate in Service Desk and Incident Management. Festus is presently with the Newcastle University Business School as a Research Associate on Sustainable Business Models for Assisted Living Technologies & Services (SALT) project. This project (2011-2014) is led by Newcastle University under the ‘Assisted living: Economic and Business Models, and Social & Behavioural Studies’ programme, funded by TSB, ESRC & NIHR as part of Assisted Living Innovation Platform (ALIP). A qualified Hydrogeologist (Dr.sc.nat), Ulrich's key areas of expertise include environmental impact assessment, quantitative risk assessment, environment & human health and numerical modelling. Ulrich has a particular interest in environmental liability legislation and in environmental impacts related to subsurface energy extraction/installations (geothermal energy and unconventional gas/shale gas). In addition to his academic/research expertise, Ulrich had been working with URS Corporation, a leading provider of engineering, construction, and technical services for public agencies and private sector companies around the world, for several years as Consultant Hydrogeologist, working on a series of medium to large scale environmental projects for an international client base. This work included all aspects of project development, realisation and management as well as providing leadership with regard to specific technical & legislative expertise applied to a range of complex environmental challenges.

Dr STEVE OLUSEGUN OGIDAN

Dr Steve Olusegun OGIDAN is a development planner, with experience in business development strategy, rural development and microfinance. He was educated Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Bayero University, Kano, University of Lagos and Trinity College Malanga, Spain. He was also trained in the National Institute of Strategy, Beer Sheva, Israel. His specific interests and competencies include business development strategy, Microfinance and agricultural training. He is an accredited Trainer by Centre for Management Development (CMD) Nigeria, International Labour Organization, ITC/ILO, Turin, Italy, Center for Microfinance Leadership of the Women’s World Banking, New York, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank as a Business Edge Trainer. Dr Ogidan was a team member of FGN/European Union team on the Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform (WSSSR) programme. Dr Ogidan coordinated the Training and HR components of the project implemented by PricewaterhouseCoopers in a Consortium of 3 firms: ITAD Limited, UK, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria and Mott MacDonald, UK. He is also training consultant to PrOpCom (Promoting Pro-poor Opportunities in Commodity and Service Markets) and International Fertilizer Development Corporation, IFDC. He was the Team Leader for three terms for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd FGN/IFAD-RUFIN Supervision Missions for Nigeria between 2010 and 2011. He was a consultant to the UNDP and the Central Bank of Nigeria on Microfinance Development Strategy. He is also currently a Management Strategy Consultant and Trainer to the Nigerian Railway Corporation as well as a Strategy Consultant to the Central Bank of Liberia on Financial Inclusion, 2012-2014. He is the Coordinator and Team Leader of the ITC/ILO International Expert Team developing Training Curriculum and Manuals on Access to Finance for Workers and Trade Unions in Africa 2010- 2012. In partnership with Making Cents International, Dr Ogidan has been certified to deliver the Youth-Inclusive Financial Services, YFS another product to deepen the outreach of Microfinance in developing world. He has also been appointed as a Local Service Support LSS Provider for the German Donor Agency, Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst (EED) to train its 22 Partner Organizations in Nigeria . He was the BDS/ Grant Specialist on the World Bank MSME Rice Value Chain Project and currently the Kaduna State Coordinator of the World Bank State-Level Private Sector Policy And Institutional Mapping (SPPIM) project being implemented by Nathan Associates, UK. A Commonwealth Scholar at the National Institute Pune, India, a MASHAV (Government of Israel) Scholar at the NEGEV Institute for Strategies of Peace and Development (NISPED), Beer Sheva, Israel and a MasterCard Foundation Scholar at the School of Applied Microfinance, Kenya, 2008. He is Faculty Member Pan African University, Enterprise Development Centre, Lagos, as well as Centre for Microfinance Leadership, New York and the School of African Microfinance, Kenya. Dr Ogidan who is the MD/CEO of Successory Nigeria Ltd and Chairman, Global Knowledge Group also chairs the Board of Directors of a Microfinance Bank. He is married with children.
