Dr Liadi Mudashiru
Research Fellow
Dr Mudashiru is a Research Fellow at Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK where he received his PhD (in geochemistry) and MSc (in Environmental Biogeochemistry) degrees respectively with his MBA. Dr. Mudashiru received his BSc (with Honours) in Chemistry from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife-Ife, Nigeria. Dr. Mudashiru is an international research scientist with international reputation having worked in the Canada, China, Netherlands, Australia, India and in the UK (where he has lived for over a decade). Dr. Mudashiru has a solid background in geochemistry with distinguished track record of academic excellence and achievements. He have over five years of research experience as a young researcher working in multidisciplinary research environment involving laboratory experiments, conventional and unconventional energy, climate change, reservoir modelling and environment. Dr. Mudashiru is a prolific writer with over 20 publications, contributions to two published books, numerous honours/awards for research and academic excellence and achievements and over 50 conference presentations as invited/guest speakers. His research interests include coal chemistry, sustainable use of coal, underground coal gasification technology, coal to liquid, coal to gas, fossil fuels and unconventional energy recovery. Dr. Mudashiru’s scientific research has been concentrated on [1] Processes of energy production from unconventional resources; [2] clean use of fossil fuels [3] underground coal gasification [4] Chemical reactions, equation of states, compositional, kinetics, thermodynamics, CO2 sequestration and fingerprinting; [5] CO2 sequestration in saline aquifers, depleted gas reservoirs and coal seams; [6] Environmental chemistry and geochemistry; [7] Computational fluid dynamics, geochemical and environmental modelling; [8] Laboratory, experimental and instrumentation, structural elucidation and characterization using a wide range of analytical facilities including spectroscopic and microscopic techniques. Dr Sumona Mukhuty is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management / Organisational Behaviour. Prof Gulnur Muradoglu

Gulnur MURADOGLU is a Professor of Finance at Cass Business School. She is also the Director of the Behavioural Finance Working Group. She has worked as the Director of PhD Programme for Cass. She has worked for Manchester Business School as the Director of the MSc. in Finance and for Bilkent University as assistant and associate professor respectively. She has been at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as a Fulbrighter and at Warwick Business School as a Visiting Fellow. She is doing research on behavioral finance and emerging markets. She has been an Associate Editor of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade and Frontiers of Finance and Economics. She has been on the Editorial Boards of the journals Comparative Economic Systems, International Journal of Behavioural Accounting and Finance, and Finance Letters. She has launched the Behavioural Finance Working Group in 2009 and has co-chaired its semi-annual conferences. She has organised and chaired the 11th Multinational Finance Society Meeting in Istanbul in 2004 and the EWGFM Conference in London in 2008. She has published more than thirty five articles in various journals including The Journal of Behavioural Finance, Journal of Economics and Business, Journal of International Business, European Journal of Finance, Multinational Finance Journal, Applied Financial Economics, Developing Economies, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Forecasting, International Journal of Forecasting, Applied Economics Letters and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. She has received funding from TUBITAK in 2009, Marie Curie from the European Commission within the Seventh Framework Programme in 2008. She has received the Economics Research Forum best policy oriented paper award in Finance Money and Banking in 2004. She has received Cass Business School Research Support fund in 2009, University of Manchester Research Support Fund Award in 2000, Young Leaders Award of Sasakawa Foundation/Japan, in 1995, and the Incentive Award of Turkish Academy of Sciences for Young Academics in1995, 1996, and 1997.
