I am a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Leicester with a Computer Science education that involved a modern apprentice ship in Germany as Datenverareitungs Kaufmann, a 1st class BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Wales, Swansea and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow. My research expertise is in service computing, policies and workflow applications in the context of large and complex software systems supporting businesses. My current roles include the leadership of the departmental MSc programmes (both campus based and DL) and a role of business fellow. In the latter role I am acting as contact for the department to explore how departmental research can help industrial demands and am also active in delivering business oriented projects through e.g. KTPs.

Stephanie J. Rickard is a Senior Lecturer at the London School of Economics in the Department of Government. She earned her PhD at the University of California, San Diego and her BA at the University of Rochester. Her research examines the effects of political institutions on economic policies and appears in journals such as International Organization, The Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political Science, and Comparative Political Studies. Her current research includes a study of “buy national” procurement policies and an investigation into how national elections impact IMF loan negotiations. She has appeared on BBC Radio 4's flagship Today programme to discuss various events in the global economy, including the leadership contests at the WTO and IMF.
